Thought of as the sister city of Cave Creek, this town is pretty much the exact opposite of the town of Cave Creek. Founded in 1950 as a master planned community, cc&r's and paved roads abound this 8.9 square mile town. Magnificent boulder outcroppings are scattered about. Two golf outstanding golf courses can be enjoyed and the homes are fabulous. The town of Carefree houses the third largest sundial in the western hemisphere. Carefree is an appropriate name for the town where you can live on Easy Street and shop on Ho Hum Way.
